Cream polish or shoe cream is a form of polish that has significantly less wax in its formulation than paste wax polish. As a result, the "shell" created by the polish is significantly softer than that created by paste wax. Cream polish is suited best to softer shoe leathers which flex too much under hard shell polish, causing the shine to dull quickly. Cream polish can be applied with a dauber, rag or hands.
